FRM背景

　　近10年来，随着金融工程学、金融计量经济学和计算金融等金融前沿学科的快速发展，金融风险管理技术等到了前所未有的重视，FRM考试也因此迅速地发展，并已经得到华尔街和众多欧美著名金融机构、大型公司风险管理部门以及各国政府监管层和金融监管部门的认同，并已经成为全世界金融风险管理领域最权威的认证。

FRM简介

　　FRM全称是Financial Risk Manager，是全球金融风险管理领域最权威的资格认证，FRM由总部设在美国的全球风险管理协会(GARP)设立。近10年来，随着金融工程学、金融计量经济学和计算金融等金融前沿学科的快速发展，金融风险管理技术等到了前所未有的重视，FRM考试也因此迅速地发展，并已经得到华尔街和众多欧美著名金融机构、大型公司风险管理部门以及各国政府监管层和金融监管部门的认同，并已经成为全世界金融风险管理领域最权威的认证。

FRM考试

       FRM考试始于1997年。截至2012年底，全球约有2万多名人员获得FRM头衔。FRM考试在中国北京、上海、广州、成都、武汉、香港和台湾设有考点，目前中国（包括香港、台湾）已取得FRM证书的大约在1000人左右，属于极度稀缺的金融高级人才。

       从2010年开始，FRM考试分为两部分，Part I和Part II。FRM的两次考试分别考不同的内容（Part I主要为市场风险，Part II为信用、操作风险等）。每个部分只有一场考试，时间为四个小时。GARP每年在5月和11月举行两次考试，每次上午考Part I，下午考Part II。GARP允许考生可选择同时参加Part I和Part II的考试，但如果Part I没过，Part II不会得到评分（所以不会出现考生先过Part II再过Part I的情况）。相比较而言，FRM的周期不算很长，部分人可以在1年内搞定。

       每次考试为80个单项选择题，每题为4个选项。GARP没有公布考试通过规则，但基本上每次通过率都超过50%左右。为了获得FRM称号，除了通过两次考试外，申请者还必须有两年以上相关的工作经验。
